Welcome to The JoJo Tree

I've always been drawn to distressed, urban textures.  As a kid in the 70's growing up in East Harlem (Manhattan, NY) there were burned‑out and abandoned apartment buildings all over the neighborhood. The local artists took advantage of that empty space and completely covered these buildings with street art & graffiti.  

I like to create images and textures that remind me of the things I saw in those buildings. I also like making experimental music & videos. 

As a multimedia artist & web designer, I use this website as a sort of "underground" digital art gallery for you - and a place to share for me.  

The freedom and level of design control a personal website offers over social-media is unmatched.  And with no intrusive ads or algorithms.
