I'm a multimedia artist and I use this site to post different projects.
My first experiences with more "non-traditional" forms of art, was as a kid growing up in East Harlem (Manhattan, New York). At that time, there were burned-out and abandoned apartment buildings all over the neighborhood.
The local artists took advantage of that empty space by covering these buildings with some amazing street art and colorful graffiti. I remember the fun I had climbing each floor and always finding something new and different.
